Flyerworks

ArcAce's addon puts ten flyable aircraft into Bedrock, from a wooden glider to a supersonic jet. Crafting is gated behind blueprints found in all three dimensions.

The Flyerworks addon from ArcAce adds ten aircraft to Bedrock, from a wooden glider to a supersonic jet, flown with a flight model built on throttle, airspeed and drag. It is Bedrock only and arrives as one behavior pack file, FlyerWork BEHAVIOR.mcpack.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.20 to 1.21.101.

What it adds

Each airframe has its own hit points, cargo space and role. Pull too hard without speed and the wing quits, so energy management matters from the second aircraft onward. Combat covers hold-to-fire autocannons, unguided heavy ordnance and guided missiles that can be dodged because they have physical turn limits.

  • Early game: SkyHawk, an amphibious VTOL with 100 HP, 6 cargo slots and 2 seats, and the K-58 Thunderbolt, a fast interceptor inspired by the P-51 Mustang.
  • Mid game: the Hovercraft, M62 Saber and F/A-31 Daemon, which switches between hovering VTOL and plane mode.
  • Late game: StratoSailer, which needs no fuel thanks to a Shulker core, and the XAF-01 Draken, with subsonic and supersonic wing modes.
  • Secret finds: magical oddities with zero fuel requirements and unconventional flight.

Crashes leave smoking wreckage, and a Toolbox repairs the downed craft instead of losing it. Chase cameras steer around terrain, and a separate cinematic suite is meant for recording.

Progression

Recipes are locked behind blueprints found across the Overworld, Nether and End. The SkyHawk blueprint comes from Wandering Traders, mid-game craft use a Redprint from Nether Fortress chests or Piglin bartering, and the StratoSailer needs a Purpleprint from End City chests.
