Liminal Craft: Backrooms Addon is a Bedrock-only backrooms addon by MrSmilerWD. It adds entities, blocks and items for building Backrooms worlds by hand. It is a sandbox made for creating maps. It runs in your own world with both of its packs switched on.

What it adds
The 21 entities come from Roblox games, wiki pages and custom designs, with Adysync, Reysync, Limbo and the Kane Parsons series as named influences. The original Backrooms Wikidot supplies some of the ideas. Each creature is meant to have a purpose, and the style stays as close to vanilla as possible. The addon is also compatible with Vibrant Visuals.
- Mold family: Mold Zombie, Mold Titan, Mold Clicker, Mold Spotlight and several variants.
- Mimics and crabs: Vending mimic, Mannequin Mimic, Radio Crab and Speaker Crab.
- Others: Lifeform, Tripod, Umbra Light, Skin Stealer and Carpet Bear.
- Blocks: mainly Level 1 blocks plus a biome.
How to install Liminal Craft
- 1.Download the files from CurseForge. The creator warns that the MCPEDL page is bugged.
- 2.Open the files with Minecraft Bedrock so they import. The add-on install guide covers each device.
- 3.Create a new world and turn on Beta APIs and Upcoming Creator Features before you start it.
- 4.Activate both packs under Behavior Packs and Resource Packs in the world settings.
Trade-offs and credit
This is a toolbox rather than a ready-made level. Natural generation is planned for future updates but is not in yet, and the block set is mostly Level 1. Players who do not want to build are told to wait for the map release. For a different take on the theme, compare The Backrooms. The creator asks that you credit the addon page if you make a video or use it in a map.

Does Liminal Craft need experimental toggles?
Yes. The creator asks you to enable Beta APIs and Upcoming Creator Features before creating a new world, and to add both packs to that world. Turning them on afterwards is not what the creator describes, so start from a fresh world with the toggles already set.
Can I play Liminal Craft on Java Edition?
No. It is a Bedrock Edition add-on, and Java Edition cannot load add-ons. It is listed on CurseForge under Bedrock addons, so use it on Bedrock Edition, where files open with the game on Windows, phones and tablets.
