Simulation Core is a Bedrock addon by INTOR that keeps chunks simulating after you leave them. It targets Bedrock Edition only and asks for no other pack.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.21 to 26.40.
What it keeps running
The addon maintains simulation on chunks that are out of your range, so the farms you built are still progressing when you come back. The creator's own description frames it as keeping progress of your farms while you travel across the world.
- Smelters.
- Commands.
- Travel between dimensions, and your return to the world afterwards.
It also works across dimensions and after returning to the world, so a trip through a portal does not have to mean a farm left idle.
Installing it
Open the downloaded file with Bedrock. A .mcaddon or .mcpack imports on its own, by double-click on Windows or Open With on phones and tablets. Then switch the packs on in the world's settings under Behavior Packs and Resource Packs. Our install guide for Bedrock add-ons covers manual folder installs, and the troubleshooting guide helps if a pack refuses to load.
The trade-off
The addon is built around a single idea, and its feature set is narrow: crops, smelters, automatic farms and commands. The simulation maintain range is 40 blocks to the sides of you, so judge your farm layout against that figure. Nothing is stated about Realms or dedicated hosting, so test on a throwaway world before trusting it with a large base.
