The Bloody Mist is a horror addon for Minecraft Bedrock by Zaddoc. One creature invades your world to torment you: it makes sounds to confuse you, then stalks you, chases you or kills you. It is Bedrock only, and Java Edition cannot load it.

What it adds
The pitch is a single, persistent threat rather than a pile of new content. In the backstory, a corrupted file inside a pirated install of Minecraft got into the files of a mod called The Man From The Fog and distorted it, and the creature wants to enter real life. Version 2 reworked most of the experience:
- New model, texture and animations.
- New sounds by S0ulDUDE, plus a jumpscare and a stalking behaviour.
- Adjusted spawn rate.
- A new medicine item.
- Blood rain and new moon phases.
How to install The Bloody Mist

The trade-off is scope. This addon is one monster with a story, not a full horror overhaul, and the jumpscares are the point. Realm and dedicated-server support are not stated, so test in a local world before inviting anyone.
