OneClient is a Fabric modpack from Polyfrost that turns a plain Java Edition install into a performance-tuned setup in one import. It bundles frame-rate mods, quality-of-life additions and its own HUDs, and it runs on the client side only. Polyfrost pitches it as an all-in-one pack for multiplayer players who want FPS gains and a themed interface without assembling a mod list by hand.
Loaders and versions
- Fabric: Minecraft 1.21.1 to 26.3.
What's included
The pack is powered by OneConfig, Polyfrost's configuration layer. Its interface is drawn with PolyCompose, Polyfrost's own rendering library based on JetBrains Compose, and it supports themes.
- Performance: Polyfrost counts 27 performance mods in the pack, against 14 in Fabulously Optimized.
- HUDs: EvergreenHUD and VanillaHUD, both made by Polyfrost. On Hypixel SkyBlock, the HUDs of the major SkyBlock mods show in one place.
- Interface: a clean, sleek look designed by dedicated designers, with themes to choose from.
- Open code: Polyfrost says it has kept no private repository on its GitHub since January 2026.
How to install OneClient
- 1.Open the OneClient page on Modrinth.
- 2.Import the pack into the Modrinth App, or into Prism Launcher or another launcher that reads .mrpack files.
- 3.Let the launcher fetch the listed mods and the Fabric loader.
- 4.Start the new instance and join your multiplayer world.
If you have not imported a Modrinth pack before, start with the modpack install guide.
The trade-off
This is an opinionated stack. Fabric is the only loader, and the mod list, HUDs and interface are Polyfrost's choices. Players who want to pick every mod themselves will find a hand-built list more flexible. Players who want one import and a consistent look get that here.
Questions about OneClient.
4 questions
How do I install OneClient?
Open the pack from Modrinth in a launcher that imports Modrinth packs, such as the Modrinth App or Prism Launcher. The launcher downloads the listed mods and the Fabric loader for you. Then start the new instance and play. No manual mod copying is needed.
Does OneClient work on a server?
No. The pack is required on the client side and servers are unsupported. You install it only on your own computer, then join multiplayer worlds as usual. It is meant to improve your own frame rate, interface and HUDs, not to run a host.
Which loader does OneClient use?
OneClient uses Fabric only. The launcher fetches the right Fabric loader when you import the pack, so you do not have to install it separately. Other loaders are not offered, so players on Forge or NeoForge need a different pack.
Is OneClient open source?
Polyfrost states that the project is fully open source. The linked repository, DataStorageV2, holds data for Polyfrost projects such as OneClient and includes a GNU GPL version 3 licence file. Contributors can also propose their own mods for OneConfig categories through a pull request.
