Bosses of Mass Destruction adds epic endgame boss fights to Java worlds on Forge and NeoForge. It is CerbonXD's unofficial port of Barribob's Fabric mod, and it has to be installed on both the player's side and the host's side.
Loaders and versions
- Forge and NeoForge: Minecraft 1.20.1 to 1.21.1. The newest build requires Geckolib, Cloth Config API and CERBON's API.
The four bosses
Each boss lives in a rare structure. The mod is marked work in progress, so the roster is small and focused.
- Night Lich, in rare towers in cold biomes. Follow the soul stars to find them.
- Obsidilith, in rare structures on the End islands.
- Nether Gauntlet, in rare structures in the Nether.
- Void Blossom, in rare caves at the bottom of the world. Void lilies point the way.
In creative, all four can be summoned with the /summon command, which saves a long search when you only want to test a fight.
Installation
- 1.Install Forge or NeoForge for the release you play, following the Forge and NeoForge guide.
- 2.Place the mod file and each required library file in the mods folder.
- 3.Add CERBON's API as well. It has no page on our site.
- 4.Start the loader's profile, and repeat the setup on the host if you play multiplayer.
What to expect
The pitch is difficulty and spectacle rather than breadth. Four fights sit behind structure hunting, so the mod suits packs where exploration should lead to a real challenge.
