Delightful is a food-focused addon for Farmer's Delight, built for Forge and NeoForge. It adds marshmallows, burgers, jellies, matcha drinks and a long list of knives, plus items that only appear when other mods are present. It must be installed on both sides, the player's and the host's.
What it adds
- Foods such as the S'more, Cheeseburger, Nut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Field Salad, Cactus Steak, Cooked Goat and Cantaloupe Slice. Acorns drop from oak leaves and raw goat from goats.
- Ender Nectar, a single-use item that opens Ender Chest access, and Glow Jelly Bottles that give the Glowing effect.
- Salmonberries that spawn in forests, with a pie, ice cream, plantable pips and a Salmonberry Sack storage block.
- Matcha from green tea leaves, gained by using a knife on leaves, for two lattes and an ice cream.
- Animal Fat, cooked into Animal Oil Bottles. Sneak and right-click a furnace with one to refuel it instantly.
- Mini Melons on plains, Cantaloupes on beaches, and Quartz and Basalt Cabinets.
Knives and compat content
Each knife switches on only when its crafting material exists. Tin, steel, bronze, silver, brass, lead, nickel and other tagged ingots all get one. Dedicated knives cover Twilight Forest, Mekanism Tools, Forbidden and Arcanus, SimpleOres, Fusion and more. Copper, bone, amethyst and emerald knives are off by default.
Other mods unlock extra food. Biomes O' Plenty brings Rock Candy and Lavender Tea, Ecologics adds Crab Rangoon and Azalea Tea, and Rotten Leather adds the Chunkwich. Vanilla pumpkin pies, Oh The Biomes You'll Go pies and Ars Nouveau Source Berry Pies can be placed and sliced like Farmer's Delight pies.
Installation and configuration
- 1.Install Forge or NeoForge for your Minecraft release, following the guide to installing Forge and NeoForge.
- 2.Put the mod file in the mods folder of both the player's installation and the host's.
- 3.Launch with the loader's profile.
- 4.Toggle features in config/delightful-common.toml.
The trade-off is scope. Much of the content is tied to other mods, and it does nothing without them. NeoForge support covers only 1.20.1.

Does Delightful work on multiplayer?
Yes. Delightful is required on both sides, so players and the host both need the mod file in their mods folder. It is made for Forge and NeoForge, and a mod runs only with the loader it was made for, installed for the same Minecraft release.
Which loaders does Delightful support?
Delightful has builds for Forge and NeoForge. Forge builds cover 1.19 to 1.20.1, while NeoForge builds cover 1.20.1 only. No Fabric or Quilt builds are listed, so those loaders cannot run it.
How do I turn off Delightful features?
Every new feature can be disabled in the config. Edit config/delightful-common.toml to switch knives on or off. Pie slices can be disabled by turning off the matching slice item. The optional compat items only appear when their partner mods are loaded.
