EEEAB's Mobs

Adds late-game bosses with their own lore and fight mechanics, such as Relic Annihilator and Realmwarden, to Forge worlds. Both players and host need it.

EEEAB's Mobs is a Forge mod that adds a roster of hard bosses and monsters, each with its own lore and attack patterns. It is required on both sides, so the host and every player must install it. EEEAB handled the lore, models, animations, textures, structure design and code alone.

Loaders and versions

  • Forge: Minecraft 1.19.2 to 1.20.1. The newest build needs no dependencies; some builds for 1.19.2 to 1.20.1 require Citadel.

The bosses

The mod is built around set-piece fights tied to a shared story of Ancient Steve and the Immortals.

  • Relic Annihilator moves on wheel-feet with rear thrusters and attacks with missiles and rotating saw blades. Its head core is exposed briefly while it fires missiles or lasers, and that is the only window to paralyze it.
  • Realmwarden, formerly the Nameless Guardian, was reforged to guard the seal. The old Nameless Guardian no longer appears in regular survival from release 0.98, but commands and spawn eggs still summon it.
  • The Immortal leads its Immortal Legion and is a late-game boss. Its content is being finished gradually across several releases, so expect it to grow.

Installing it

  1. 1.Set up Forge for the matching release, following the Forge and NeoForge install guide.
  2. 2.Drop the mod file into the mods folder. Some older releases also need Citadel in the same folder.
  3. 3.Start the Forge profile on both sides.

Update rhythm and extras

Releases usually land within three months. The 1.19.2 line trails 1.20.1 by one release, and once the mod reaches 1.0 that older line will only get bug fixes and translation updates. Rendering code for camera shake, advanced particles and lasers comes from Mowzie's Mobs, used with credit to Bob Mowzie. A retexture pack by leomard0_o is available separately on CurseForge.

Questions about EEEAB's Mobs.

4 questions

Does EEEAB's Mobs work on Fabric or NeoForge?

No. EEEAB's Mobs is released only for Forge. There will be no Fabric port and no support for 1.18 or older. A NeoForge port and newer releases are on the planning list, but no date is given, so for now the mod needs a Forge profile.

Where do I report a crash in EEEAB's Mobs?

Open a new issue on the mod's GitHub repository and attach the log file if it was a crash. Describe the problem and name the mod loader release you use. EEEAB also takes reports in the issues channel of a Discord community, where the posting rules should be read first.

Does the Nameless Guardian still appear in survival?

Not from release 0.98 onward. It no longer appears in regular survival play, but commands and spawn eggs can still summon it, and its related configuration options remain. No rework is planned for now. Its lore continues in the boss now called Realmwarden.

How often does EEEAB's Mobs update?

A new release usually arrives within three months. If a release has crashes or bugs that badly hurt survival play, a fix follows sooner, depending on how hard the problem is. The 1.19.2 line trails 1.20.1 by one release, so it receives every second update.
