ForgeEndertech

The shared library that every Endertech mod loads on top of. It adds nothing on its own and asks for no other mods.

ForgeEndertech is a library mod for Java that the whole Endertech family depends on. It ships for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and its files are tagged for both sides of a multiplayer setup. On its own it adds nothing to play. It exists so the mods that rely on it can load.

Loaders and versions

  • Fabric: Minecraft 26.2 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies.
  • Forge: Minecraft 1.12.2 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies.
  • NeoForge: Minecraft 1.20.1 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies.

Which mods need it

EnderLanky states that the library is required for every Endertech mod. The current family is:

  • Advanced Finders
  • Pollution of the Realms
  • Advanced Chimneys
  • To the Bat Poles!
  • Large Ore Deposits
  • Advanced Hook Launchers

If one of these asks for ForgeEndertech, this is the file it means.

Installation

  1. 1.Pick the Endertech mod you want and note its loader and release.
  2. 2.Grab the ForgeEndertech file for that same loader and release.
  3. 3.Place both files in the mods folder of your Java install.
  4. 4.Launch using the loader's profile.

No loader yet? Follow the guide to install Forge and NeoForge or to install Fabric. The general steps are in how to install mods on Java.

Modpacks

EnderLanky allows the library in any modpack and says no permission is needed. Since it is tagged for both sides, pack authors who ship an Endertech mod should include it for players and for hosted worlds alike.

Questions about ForgeEndertech.

4 questions

What is ForgeEndertech used for?

ForgeEndertech is the core library behind the Endertech mods. Advanced Finders, Pollution of the Realms, Advanced Chimneys, To the Bat Poles!, Large Ore Deposits and Advanced Hook Launchers all require it. It has no gameplay of its own, so it only matters when you install one of those mods.

Does ForgeEndertech work on Fabric and NeoForge?

Yes. Despite the name, it has releases for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Pick the file that matches the loader you use, and make sure it matches the loader of the Endertech mod you are adding, because mixing loaders will not work.

Can I put ForgeEndertech in a modpack?

Yes. EnderLanky states that the library can be used in any modpack and that you do not need to ask permission first. CurseForge lists no licence and no source code is linked, so that statement is the only usage rule given.

Does ForgeEndertech need other mods installed?

No. The newest release for each loader lists no required dependencies. Some older Forge releases list optional links to the Endertech mods, but nothing else is needed for the library itself to load.
