Mcedia Core plays Bilibili videos, live streams and Douyin clips on in-world screens, with armor stands working as TVs. The Fabric mod runs only on the player's own machine.

Loaders and versions

  • Fabric: Minecraft 1.21.1 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies; some builds for 1.21.8 to 26.1.2 require Fabric API.

What it adds

  • Video rendered onto screen surfaces in the world, with pause, resume, speed changes and seeking.
  • Spatial audio with left and right channel separation, so sound has direction.
  • Danmaku comment overlay that you can switch on or off.
  • A global video volume control inside the vanilla sound settings screen.
  • Compatibility with Sound Physics Remastered when it is present, so video audio takes part in sound physics.

Performance and settings

Mcedia Core manages decoders by visibility and distance instead of simply playing everything. Visible, active content gets priority, less important screens drop to a low-overhead mode, decoding pauses for content that no longer needs updates, and texture uploads are skipped when a screen is out of view.

The config covers maximum video resolution, global volume factor, active decoder limit, throttled decoder limit, low-overhead upload FPS and danmaku visibility. Settings are saved in the local config file and load at launch.

Installation

  1. 1.For the Fabric mod, install Fabric Loader for your release, following the Fabric install guide.
  2. 2.Pick the file that matches your release.
  3. 3.Place the file in the mods folder inside your .minecraft directory.
  4. 4.Launch with the Fabric profile, then adjust volume in the sound settings screen.
