FreedomChat makes player chat unreportable by disabling chat signing for Minecraft 1.19 and later. It has Fabric builds, and the same project also ships as a plugin for Paper and Folia.

How to install FreedomChat

Plugin builds and stopped loaders
Paper and Folia plugins are still updated and ship alongside the Fabric mod. They install by dropping the file into the plugins folder. Bukkit and Spigot builds stopped in December 2022, so those loaders are not current. The trade-off is scope: FreedomChat does one job, and it is no replacement for a full chat moderation tool.

How do I install FreedomChat?

Does FreedomChat make chat unreportable?

Can players with no-signing mods join a FreedomChat server?
Not by default. FreedomChat only rewrites outgoing messages and leaves incoming signature checks alone. To allow players whose client mods disable chat signing, also disable `enforce-secure-profiles` in the `server.properties` file in addition to installing FreedomChat.
