MidnightControls is a client-side mod for Minecraft Java Edition that adds full gamepad and touchscreen control support. It runs on Fabric, NeoForge, and Quilt across Minecraft 1.18 through 1.21, handling movement, camera, inventory navigation, and menu interactions without requiring additional software or middleware.

What MidnightControls Adds

The mod maps analog stick input to walking, turning, and camera rotation, then assigns face buttons and triggers to attack, use, jump, sneak, sprint, and inventory slots. A dedicated settings screen lets you adjust dead zones, stick sensitivity, and individual button assignments directly from the options menu.

  • Analog stick control for movement and camera rotation
  • Full button mapping for attack, use, jump, sneak, and sprint
  • Dead zone and stick sensitivity sliders
  • Touchscreen input for tap and swipe
  • In-game keybind screen for live button reassignment
  • Ring binding for radial item selection
