More Armor Trims is a Fabric and NeoForge mod from masik16u that adds 13 new armor trims to Minecraft Java Edition. Every trim comes from a smithing template that is deliberately hard to get. The mod is required on both the player's side and the host's side.

How to obtain each trim
Each template has its own source and drop chance, so collecting the full set means exploring, fighting and fishing.
- Storm: fishing treasure during a thunderstorm (33.3% as treasure).
- Ram: killing an Evoker riding a Ravager (100%).
- Myth: a Wandering Trader special trade for 15 emeralds.
- Greed: minecart chest in a badlands mineshaft (20%).
- Beast: igloo basement chest (50%).
- Fever: Nether ruined portal chest (20%).
- Wraith: killing a Wither in a Soul Sand Valley (100%).
- Nihility: breaking an Overworld spawner (30%).
- Horizon: brushing suspicious gravel in cold ocean ruins (6.2%).
- Origin: a sniffer digging in an Old Growth Taiga (33.3%).
- Twilight: a cat's morning gift (11.4%).
- Parasite: an endermite killed by an enderman (20%).
- Witness: breaking a naturally generated creaking heart at night (20%).
Installing the mod
- 1.Set up the loader you want, using the guide to installing Fabric or the one for Forge and NeoForge.
- 2.Place the mod file, plus any dependency listed for your release, in the mods folder.
- 3.Launch with the loader's profile.
The trade-off is effort. Several trims depend on rare events, and Horizon sits at a 6.2% chance, so expect a long hunt before every trim is in your smithing table. The mod ships with translations including Ukrainian, Polish, German, French, Japanese and Korean.
