How the resource crop and essence loop works
Every playthrough starts with Inferium Seeds, planted on farmland to grow the mod's basic resource crop. Harvesting them drops Inferium Essence, which unlocks the Infusion Altar, a multiblock station surrounded by Infusion Pedestals that combines essence with items to produce resource seeds for over 150 vanilla and modded materials, from iron and diamond to blocks added by other mods. Growing one of those seeds produces the matching resource, so a diamond seed grows into a crop that drops diamonds. Essence itself climbs through several higher tiers as players progress, up to Supremium, the mod's top farmable tier.

Support is not even across loaders, and the gap is wide. NeoForge build 9.0.9, published 3 September 2026, reaches Minecraft 26.1.2, the current year.drop release, and a parallel NeoForge build (8.0.28) still supports 1.21 and 1.21.1. Forge stopped moving forward much earlier: build 7.0.24, published 3 May 2026, is still built for Minecraft 1.20.1, and no Forge build exists for 1.21 or later. Every version past 1.20.1 is NeoForge-only.
