Stronger Skill Tree is a skill tree data pack and mod for Pufferfish's Skills, shipped for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. It adds three trees (Combat, Mining and wood chopping) that you fill by killing mobs, mining ores and chopping wood. It is required on the hosting side and optional for players who join.
Loaders and versions
- Fabric, Forge and NeoForge: Minecraft 1.18.2 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies; some builds for 1.18.2 to 26.2 require Pufferfish's Attributes and Pufferfish's Skills.
How the trees work
Skill xp comes from killing mobs, mining ores and chopping wood. Enough xp earns a skill point, and K opens the tree with standard controls. It opens with three paths that split into six, and each path leans on different stats.
- Melee covers melee damage, health, attack speed and healing.
- Ranged covers ranged damage, jump boost, attack speed and stamina.
- Physical Strength covers luck, sprinting speed, jump boost and health.
- The six other paths are combinations of those three.
- Mining covers mining speed, pickaxe speed, anvil repair cost and fortune.
- Wood chopping covers axe speed, mining speed and knockback.
Installation
Two routes exist. The loader route uses the mod file for your loader, placed in the mods folder next to your other mods (the mod install guide walks through it). The other route is the data pack file.
- 1.Pick the Fabric, Forge or NeoForge file that matches your loader and Minecraft version.
- 2.Install it on the host of the world. Joining players do not need it.
- 3.Check that Pufferfish's Skills is present if the file you chose asks for it.
- 4.Start the world and press K to open the tree.
