Trash Cans is a Minecraft Java mod by SuperMartijn642 that adds trash can blocks for voiding items, fluids and energy. It runs on Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge and Forge, and it installs on both sides of a multiplayer setup. If you want a simple way to get rid of overflow, this trash cans mod does one job and does it without limits.

The four trash cans
- Item Trash Can voids items, with filters set inside its screen.
- Fluid Trash Can voids liquids and gases, also filtered in its screen.
- Energy Trash Can voids energy, with a transfer limit you set in its screen.
- Ultimate Trash Can handles items, fluids and energy, with item and fluid filters plus an energy limit.
Items and fluids can be whitelisted or blacklisted. There is no cap on how much or how fast a can voids.
Item retrieval and Mekanism waste
Deleted something by accident? The last six deleted items can be retrieved. Voiding nuclear waste from Mekanism is switched off by default and can be enabled in the config file.
Installation
- 1.Install Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge or Forge for your Minecraft release, following the Java mod install guide if you are new to it.
- 2.Place the mod file and the required libraries from the list above in the mods folder.

Questions about Trash Cans.
4 questions
Can Trash Cans void Mekanism nuclear waste?
Yes, but the option is disabled by default. You enable voiding of nuclear waste in the mod's config file.
Is there a limit on how much a trash can voids?
No. Items, fluids and energy can be voided as much and as fast as you like. The only restriction you control yourself is the filter on items and fluids, or the transfer limit you set on the Energy and Ultimate Trash Cans.
Can I get back an item I deleted by mistake?
Yes, up to the last six deleted items can be retrieved after an accidental deletion. Anything older than that is gone for good, so double-check your filters before putting valuable stacks into a trash can.
Can I use Trash Cans in a modpack?
Yes. SuperMartijn642 says you are free to include the mod in your modpack. The repository has no licence file, so that statement is the only permission the author gives.
