ArmorStandEditor-Reborn is a server plugin for Paper, Folia, Purpur, Bukkit and Spigot that lets survival players edit armor stand poses and attributes without typing commands. It builds on RypoFalem's original plugin. It runs on the server only, so players join as normal with nothing extra installed.
Server software and versions
- Paper: Minecraft 1.13 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies.
- Folia: Minecraft 1.14 to 26.1.2. The newest build needs no dependencies.
- Purpur: Minecraft 1.13 to 26.1.2. The newest build needs no dependencies.
- Bukkit and Spigot: Minecraft 1.13 to 1.21.10. The newest build needs no dependencies.
- Sponge: Minecraft 1.19.1, builds stopped after April 2023. The newest build needs no dependencies.
What it does
Everything happens through a tool in the player's hand. Crouching and scrolling rotates a whole stand after placement, so the menu stays closed for quick turns.
- Rotate every armor stand part along each axis, with fine and coarse adjustment steps.
- Toggle slots, invisibility, gravity, base plates and small size.
- Adjust the vulnerability state of a stand.
- Store pasted settings in one of 9 slots and reuse them on other stands in a survival-friendly way.
- Name stands with vanilla name tags, including coloured names.
- Target a stand by pressing F with the tool held. Scoreboards make it glow to show targeting and disabled slots.
- Use community translations for multiple languages.
Installation
- 1.Pick the release that matches your server software and Minecraft release from the list above.
- 2.Place the .jar file in the plugins folder of your server.
- 3.Restart the server and test with the tool in survival.
The plugin enforces an API check at load, so it will refuse to run on releases older than its minimum. New to plugins? Our plugin install guide covers the folder layout.
Protection plugins and support
Edits respect land claims from WorldGuard, GriefPrevention, Towny and Residence, so players cannot reshape stands inside areas they do not own. Support covers the latest release and unstable builds on supported API levels, and bug reports are first reproduced from the steps given.
Questions about ArmorStandEditor-Reborn.
4 questions
How do I install ArmorStandEditor-Reborn?
Put the plugin's .jar file in the plugins folder of a server running Paper, Folia, Purpur or Spigot, then restart the server. Choose the release that matches your server software and Minecraft release. Nothing else is required, since the newest releases list no dependencies.
Do players need to install anything to use ArmorStandEditor-Reborn?
No. It is a server-side plugin, and the client side is unsupported, so only the server needs it. Players join with an ordinary setup and edit armor stands using the plugin's tool in survival, with no commands required.
Does ArmorStandEditor-Reborn work on Folia?
Yes. Folia has its own releases, and the README names Folia alongside Paper and its forks as a target. The README also recommends Paper or Folia over Spigot for the latest Minecraft releases, since Spigot support is no longer the focus.
Does ArmorStandEditor-Reborn respect protected areas?
Yes. The plugin respects several protection plugins, including WorldGuard, Towny, GriefPrevention and Residence. Players are blocked from changing armor stands in regions they cannot edit, which keeps the editing tool safe to hand out on survival servers with claims.
