The DupePlus plugin adds a /dupe command that duplicates the item a player is holding. It targets Bukkit, Spigot, Paper, Purpur and Folia and runs on the server only, so players join as usual and install nothing. Its stated focus is closing exploits around /dupe.
Server software and versions
- Bukkit, Paper, Purpur and Spigot: Minecraft 1.17 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies.

What it controls
- An item blacklist or whitelist, including custom item ids such as ItemsAdder's itemsadder:id.
- A custom command name and aliases in place of /dupe.
- A sound played to the player after a successful dupe.
- An economy cost per dupe, small or large.
- A world blacklist or whitelist for where /dupe works.
- Refusal of any item carrying the dupenotallowed NBT tag, on by default.
- A choice between main hand and off hand.
Each feature toggles on or off. Messages accept variables such as the duplicated item, its count before and after, and the world name.
Installation

Config and permissions
The config file is commented section by section. After an update, the previous config is renamed to old.config.yml or deleted, so keep a backup of your edits. Feature requests go to the GitHub issues page.
The trade-off is scope. This is one command with many switches, and duplication itself unbalances a survival economy unless you restrict it with lists, worlds or a cost.

How do I install DupePlus?
Place the plugin file in the plugins folder of your Bukkit, Spigot, Paper, Purpur or Folia server and restart. The config appears in plugins/DupePlus. Players need no files on their own side, because the plugin is required on the server only.
Does DupePlus work on Folia?
Yes. Folia is among the listed targets alongside Bukkit, Spigot, Paper and Purpur. The newest release lists no dependencies, so no extra library is required. Pick the file that matches your server software on the Modrinth page.
Can I stop certain items from being duplicated?
Yes. DupePlus offers an item blacklist or whitelist, and any item with the dupenotallowed NBT tag is refused by default. Custom item ids from plugins such as ItemsAdder are supported. The message a player sees when they try to dupe a blocked item can be changed in the config, or left blank for no message.
Who can use the /dupe command?
By default everyone can, because the permission check is switched off in the config. Turn it on and only players with the dupeplus.dupe permission can run the command. You can also rename the command, add aliases, or limit it to chosen worlds.
