3D Muskets is a Java resource pack that provides 3D models for ewewukek's Musket Mod. It is a model and texture pack for the combat items, not a weapon mod, so it does nothing until a musket mod is installed. Only the player's own machine needs it.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.20 to 26.2. The newest build requires Musket Mod; some builds for 1.21.11 to 26.2 require Musket Mod Reloaded and ItemPhysic; some builds for 1.21.11 to 26.2 require Musket Mod Reloaded; some builds for 1.20.1 to 1.21.1 require Musket Mod and ItemPhysic.
How to install 3D Muskets
- 1.Install the musket mod that matches your release, as listed under supported versions.
- 2.Put the pack's .zip in the resourcepacks folder (Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder).
- 3.Move the pack to the Selected side of the Resource Packs screen. The general steps are in our resource pack install guide.
What changes visually
The pack continues Scarecrow01's Flinkl0cks Pack, and most of the credit belongs to him. His original models and textures are kept with slight alterations. MinecraftGuy926 adds a blunderbuss model and texture, a scoped musket model and texture, and reworked third person hand positions.
Item Physics and known limits
With Item Physics installed, dropped guns can appear vertical. The pack includes a toggle for this. Install Respackopts and a config button appears beside the pack on the selection screen, holding the Item Physics Compatibility switch. Separate releases also carry native ItemPhysic support, and they list ItemPhysic as a requirement.
The trade-off is the dependency. The pack is Java only, and the right companion mod depends on your release, so check the list above before you pick a file.

Does 3D Muskets work without Musket Mod?
No. The pack only supplies models and textures for items that a musket mod adds. Without one installed there is nothing for it to restyle. Each file lists either Musket Mod or Musket Mod Reloaded as a requirement, so install the one that matches the file you download.
Is 3D Muskets available for Bedrock?
No. It is a Java Edition resource pack made for ewewukek's Musket Mod and its Reloaded fork. Bedrock uses a different pack format, so the files will not work there. Java players install it by placing the zip in the resourcepacks folder and selecting it on the Resource Packs screen.
How do I fix musket models standing upright when dropped?
That happens with Item Physics installed. Install Respackopts, open the pack's config button on the resource pack screen and enable Item Physics Compatibility. Alternatively, pick a release with native ItemPhysic support.
