Fancy Crops is a 16x resource pack for Java Edition by bebebea_loste. It replaces the flat vanilla crop look with a fluffier model and adds variation to crop textures, so a field no longer looks like one repeated tile. It needs no mods.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.15 to 26.2.
What changes visually
The pack changes shape and variety rather than style, which suits players who want livelier farms without a full texture overhaul.
- A reworked crop model with a fuller, fluffier silhouette.
- Extra texture variations for crops, so neighbouring plants differ.
- Retextured seeds.
- A retextured hay bale block.
Mod compatibility
The pack was made to sit alongside Farmer's Delight, and its crop model should carry over to any mod that adds crops. The mod is optional. Nothing here depends on it.
How to install Fancy Crops
- 1.Download the .zip from the CurseForge page and leave it zipped.
- 2.In Minecraft, open Options, then Resource Packs, then Open Pack Folder, and drop the file in.
- 3.Move Fancy Crops to the Selected side of the screen and confirm.
The general steps are covered in how to install resource packs.
The same creator also publishes data packs such as Geophilic, a vanilla biome overhaul.

Questions about Fancy Crops.
4 questions
How do I install Fancy Crops?
Download the .zip from CurseForge and place it, still zipped, in the resourcepacks folder. You can open that folder from Options, then Resource Packs, then Open Pack Folder. Back on the Resource Packs screen, move Fancy Crops to the Selected side. The change shows up on your crops once the pack loads.
Does Fancy Crops need any mods?
No. The pack works on its own and requires no mods. It was built to work with Farmer's Delight, and the crop model should be compatible with all mods that add crops, but none of them is needed. You can install it by itself and add crop mods later.
Is Fancy Crops available for Bedrock?
This page covers the Java Edition pack only. Bedrock uses a different pack format, so the Java .zip will not load there. If you play on Bedrock, you need a pack built for that format rather than this download. The Java pack installs by placing the zip in the resourcepacks folder.
Why do I get a "made for a newer version" warning?
Minecraft can show a "made for a newer version of Minecraft" warning if you are not playing on the latest release. You can freely ignore it on any release the pack file is tagged for. A pack built for a different release can still load, but it shows an incompatibility warning.
