Stay True x Better Ores 3D is a 16x resource pack for Java that replaces flat ores with 3D, glowing models matched to the colourful, whimsical palette of Stay True. It is a special edition of Better Ores 3D by Marceus. It runs on the player's side only, so multiplayer hosts install nothing.

What changes visually
The pack keeps the 3D shapes and glow of the original Better Ores 3D and redraws them to fit Stay True's textures. Each ore comes with several unique variants, and a few carry animated effects.
How to install Stay True x Better Ores 3D
- 1.Download the .zip from Modrinth and open Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder.
- 2.Place the .zip in that folder.
- 3.Move the pack to the Selected side of the Resource Packs screen. The install guide covers the screen in detail.
Trade-offs
The pack is built around Stay True's palette, so it will look out of place over other styles. Other special editions of Better Ores 3D exist for Whimscape, Bare Bones, Plastic Pack and plain vanilla. All rights are reserved, so take the file only from the Modrinth page.

How do I install Stay True x Better Ores 3D?
Put the .zip in the resourcepacks folder, which you can reach through Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder. Then move the pack to the Selected side of the Resource Packs screen.
Does Stay True x Better Ores 3D need OptiFine or other mods?
Not from 1.21.2 onward, where it works in vanilla. Earlier releases need OptiFine with Emissive Textures on, or Continuity alongside Sodium. Sodium 0.5.x and lower also needs Indium for Continuity to work. Without these, the 3D ores will not display properly.
Is Stay True x Better Ores 3D available for Bedrock?
No. It is published as a Java resource pack on Modrinth, which hosts Java content, and Bedrock uses a different pack format. The pack's own page describes no Bedrock release, so Bedrock players need a different ore pack.
