Outlined Ores is a simplistic x16 texture pack for Bedrock by gildedbedrock that draws a border around every ore, so veins stand out in caves and the Nether. It is a plain resource pack, so there is no loader to match and no companion mod to add. It suits anyone hunting diamonds or Ancient Debris who wants less squinting.

How to install Outlined Ores
Everything ships as one all-in-one file. If importing add-ons is new to you, the add-on install guide covers the steps in more detail.
- 1.Open the .mcaddon file with Bedrock so it imports.
- 2.Open your world's settings and go to Resource Packs.
- 3.Activate Outlined Ores.
- 4.Select the pack, press the settings icon, and move the slider to pick an outline colour.
What changes visually
Every ore gets an outline, and the borders stay readable when an ore is partly covered by lava or fire. Ancient Debris separates clearly from netherrack, which makes Netherite easier to find. The pack carries both new ore textures and the original ones, with a border option for each.
Outline colours include red, orange, yellow, green, aqua, blue, pink, purple, black and white, plus RGB and an animated RGB. Some variants use subtle corner-only outlines for a quieter look. Others highlight only Ancient Debris and leave the remaining ore textures untouched.
Known limitations
This is a focused pack. It exists to make ores readable, not to restyle the world, so pair it with another pack if you want a broader look. The project links no source code, which means there is no public repository to inspect or file issues against.

How do I change the outline colour in Outlined Ores?
Open your world's settings, go to Resource Packs, and select Outlined Ores. Press the settings icon and a slider appears. Move it to choose the outline colour, from solid colours such as red or blue to RGB and animated RGB.
Does Outlined Ores work on Java?
No. It is a Bedrock pack delivered as a .mcaddon file, and Java cannot load that format. Java players need a pack made for their own format.
Does Outlined Ores make Ancient Debris easier to find?
Yes. Ancient Debris gets an outline that separates it from netherrack, even when lava or fire partly covers it. There are also variants that highlight only Ancient Debris and leave every other ore texture as it was.
Does Outlined Ores need any other mods or packs?
