Fullsight is a shader pack for Java that removes obtrusive rendering instead of adding it. It runs on Iris and OptiFine, targets 1.21, and only changes rendering on your own machine. Wintooo made it with one goal, a clear view of terrain and textures with no visual noise.

What it removes
- No shading, so lighting is flat and unlit.
- No darkness, so brightness stays constant at all times.
- No fog of any kind, including water fog, lava fog and sky or atmospheric fog.
- Terrain and textures still render fully.
Without lighting calculations, fog passes or post-processing, frame rates may rise and GPU load may drop. Modrinth files it under potato. Gains vary with hardware and other mods, so treat them as a possibility, not a promise.
Installation
- 1.Install Iris on Fabric or NeoForge, or install OptiFine.
- 2.Place the pack's .zip file in your shaderpacks folder.
- 3.Open Video Settings, choose Shader Packs in Iris, and select Fullsight. OptiFine uses its own shader menu.

Use it as a template
Core texture and terrain rendering is already implemented, so the pack works as a starting point for custom shader development. You can experiment without fighting built-in lighting or fog, then add features one at a time as you need them.
