Enchantments Encore adds a large set of new enchantments to Minecraft Java on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. You find them the vanilla way, through the enchanting table, loot chests and villager trades, and some mobs spawn wearing gear that carries them. The server needs it, while the client side is optional.
Loaders and versions
- Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt: Minecraft 1.21 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies.
What it adds
The enchantments cover weapons, tools and armor. A unique structure called the Rise always holds one enchantment from the pack.
- An in-game wiki, opened from the pause menu, lists what each enchantment does and which items take it.
- An online wiki covers effects, applicable items, loot sources and the Rise structure.
- Works with all vanilla enchantments, NeoEnchant+ and the enchantments from Katters Structures.
- Supports Enchantment Lore.
Two ways to install
- 1.Mod route: pick the file for your loader and Minecraft release, then drop it in the mods folder. Our guide to installing Java mods covers the steps.
- 2.Datapack route: use the plain datapack, which works out of the box.
- 3.With the datapack, put the same file in your resourcepacks folder and enable it. That pack supplies the translations and makes the new enchantments stand out from vanilla ones.
Trade-offs
Other enchantment datapacks will most likely run alongside it, but they will not share mutual exclusivities with the new enchantments. Players who want a different look for books can add the 3D Books patch made by n1trus.

Does Enchantments Encore work on multiplayer servers?
Yes, and the server is where it is required. Install the mod or datapack there so the enchantments exist in the world. The client side is optional. With the datapack route, the same file also works as the resource pack that provides translations.
Can I use Enchantments Encore as a datapack instead of a mod?
Yes. A plain datapack is published alongside the Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt files. It works out of the box, and you should also place the same file in the resourcepacks folder and enable it for translations and styling.
Is Enchantments Encore compatible with other enchantment packs?
It works with vanilla enchantments, NeoEnchant+ and the enchantments from Katters Structures. Other enchantment datapacks will most likely work too, but they will not have mutual exclusivities with the new enchantments.
