Ender's Delight is a cooking addon for Farmer's Delight that builds recipes around the End. It runs on NeoForge and Forge, and it is required on both sides, so players and hosts in multiplayer each need it. Fabric support has stopped.
Loaders and versions
- NeoForge: Minecraft 1.21 to 1.21.1. The newest build requires Farmer's Delight; some builds for 1.21.1 need no dependencies.
- Forge: Minecraft 1.18.2 to 1.20.1. The newest build needs no dependencies; some builds for 1.18.2 to 1.20.1 require Farmer's Delight.
- Fabric: Minecraft 1.20.1, builds stopped after November 2024. The newest build requires Farmer's Delight Refabricated.
What it adds
The mod lets you cook with what you collect in the End: ender pearls and chorus fruit go into dishes, and so does meat from Endermen and Shulkers. The aim is a full set of End-flavoured meals alongside the regular Farmer's Delight menu.
New drops from End creatures act as ingredients in their own right.
- Ender Sight, unstable Enderman eyes that give off a blinding light.
- Shulker Mollusk, the slimy creature inside a Shulker's hard shell, which adds texture to a dish.
- Mite Crust, crispy but pungent Endermite skin for anything that needs a crunch.
Installation
- 1.Install NeoForge or Forge for the release you want to play, following the Forge and NeoForge install guide.
- 2.Pick the mod file that matches your loader and release, and check the dependencies listed above for it.
- 3.Place the mod file, plus any required dependency file, in the mods folder.
- 4.Start the loader's profile. In multiplayer, the host and every player repeat these steps.
Trade-offs
This is a narrow addon. Without the Farmer's Delight cooking system it has little to build on, and the End ingredients only matter once you can reach and farm that dimension. Because both sides must have it, a public host cannot add it without every player installing it too. New to mods? The Java mod install guide covers the basics.
Ender's Delight mod review
Questions about Ender's Delight.
4 questions
Does Ender's Delight need Farmer's Delight?
It is designed as a Farmer's Delight addon, and its recipes build on that mod's cooking system. Some releases list no dependencies at all, so check the dependency notes for your loader and release before installing, and add Farmer's Delight when they ask for it.
Does Ender's Delight work on multiplayer servers?
Yes, but it is required on both sides. The host and every connecting player need the mod installed, with a file that matches the same loader and release. A player without it will not be able to join a host that has it.
Is there an Ender's Delight Fabric version?
A Fabric release exists for 1.20.1, but Fabric support has stopped and no newer files have followed. Current work continues on Forge and NeoForge, so choose one of those loaders if you want the latest additions.
What new ingredients does Ender's Delight add?
It adds Ender Sight from unstable Enderman eyes, Shulker Mollusk from inside the Shulker's shell, and Mite Crust from Endermite skin. They sit alongside ender pearls, chorus fruit and Enderman or Shulker meat as cooking ingredients.
