What Expanded Delight works with.
| Platform | Java Edition |
|---|---|
| Loaders | NeoForge |
| Minecraft versions | 1.21, 1.21.1 |
| Environment | Client, Server |
Expanded Delight is an addon that gradually expands Farmer's Delight with new crops, blocks and workstations. It is a NeoForge mod for Minecraft Java, and it has to be installed on both the client and the server. Fabric and Quilt builds exist but have stopped, so NeoForge is the only loader still receiving updates.
Loaders and versions
- NeoForge: Minecraft 1.21 to 1.21.1. The newest build needs no dependencies; some builds for 1.21 to 1.21.1 require Farmer's Delight.
- Fabric and Quilt: Minecraft 1.18.2 to 1.20.1, builds stopped after September 2024. The newest build requires Farmer's Delight Refabricated and Fabric API; some builds for 1.20 to 1.20.1 require [Deprecated] Farmer's Delight [Fabric] and Fabric API; some builds for 1.19 to 1.19.2 require [Deprecated] Farmer's Delight [Fabric]; some builds for 1.18.2 to 1.19.2 need no dependencies.
What it adds
The mod grows in steps rather than arriving as one finished package. Each update layers more crops, blocks and workstations onto the cooking loop that Farmer's Delight already sets up. It suits players who already run that base mod and want more to grow and prepare. The current and planned feature lists are kept on GitHub by the creator, ianm1647.
Installing Expanded Delight
Pick a file that matches your NeoForge and Minecraft release. Check which dependencies that file lists, since older files differ from the newest one.
- 1.Install NeoForge for the matching Minecraft release, following the NeoForge install guide.
- 2.Get Expanded Delight from Modrinth, plus any dependency its file page lists.
- 3.Place every .jar in the mods folder inside the game directory (.minecraft/mods by default).
- 4.Launch with the NeoForge profile, and repeat the same files on the server.
Questions about Expanded Delight.
3 questions
How do I install Expanded Delight?
Install NeoForge for your Minecraft release, then put the Expanded Delight .jar and any dependency its file lists into the mods folder inside the game directory. Launch with the NeoForge profile. Newer files need no dependencies, while some older ones need Farmer's Delight installed alongside.
Does Expanded Delight work on Fabric?
Fabric and Quilt builds exist, but they stopped after September 2024 and cover older Minecraft releases only. The current builds are made for NeoForge. A Fabric port for 1.21.1 is mentioned as being worked on, but no build for it has been published.
Does Expanded Delight work on multiplayer servers?
Yes, but it is required on both sides. The mod must be installed on the server and on every client that joins, because a server without it will not work with players who have it. Use the same files and the same loader on both.
