More Radical Trainers is the more radical trainers datapack for Cobblemon. It adds 17 extra battle series to the Radical Cobblemon Trainers mod, and it ships as mod files for Fabric and NeoForge as well as a plain datapack.
It is required on the server and optional on the client. The trade-off is the dependency stack: this is an add-on to an add-on, so it does nothing without the trainer mod beneath it.

The newest build requires Cobblemon, Cobblemon: Mega Showdown, Radical Cobblemon Trainers and Cobblemon Pokemon Badges; some builds for 1.21.1 require Cobblemon, Cobblemon: Mega Showdown, Radical Cobblemon Trainers, Cobblemon Pokemon Badges and SimpleTMs: TMs and TRs for Cobblemon; some builds for 1.21.1 require Cobblemon, Radical Cobblemon Trainers, Cobblemon Pokemon Badges and SimpleTMs: TMs and TRs for Cobblemon.
Installation
- 1.Pick a build: the Fabric or NeoForge mod file, or the plain datapack file listed alongside them.
- 2.If you pick a mod file, it runs only with the loader its build was made for, set up for the same Minecraft version (see the Fabric guide or the Forge and NeoForge guide).
- 3.Add every required dependency listed above before you launch.
What the series add
Every Pokémon on these teams has max EVs and IVs, and some carry competitive movesets. Difficulty runs medium to hard, rated from 3/10 to 6/10 per series.
- Eight standalone series: Pokémon Adventures, Sinnoh, Unova, Hoenn, Kalos and Paldea Gym Challenges, plus Team Aqua and Team Magma.
- Pokémon Adventures unlocks as a chain. Beat Yellow, then work through the Crystal, Ruby and Diamond trios until Blue, Green and Red open up.
- Sinnoh Gym Challenge battles are all Double Battles.
- Kalos Gym Challenge trainers field Mega Evolved Pokémon at team levels upwards of 90.
- Nine gated series, including Team Plasma, the Unova, Hoenn and Kalos League Challenges, Neo Team Plasma, Paldea Elite Four and Starfall Street.
Gating is straightforward. Team Plasma and the Unova League Challenge need the Unova Gym Challenge, and Team Plasma's Seven Sages needs both of them. Neo Team Plasma then follows the Seven Sages.
An optional texture pack, the Advancements Localization Pack by Thirace, is linked from the Modrinth page. The trainers themselves come from hdainester's Radical Cobblemon Trainers mod, and fyre520 notes this is a first datapack.

Does More Radical Trainers work without Radical Cobblemon Trainers?
No. It only adds trainers to the Radical Cobblemon Trainers mod, so that mod must be installed. Newer releases also expect a matching trainer mod release, so check the notes on the release you pick before installing.

Yes. It is required on the server and optional on the client. On a multiplayer setup, install it where the world runs and keep the dependencies matched to the release.
