AsLeaderBoard is a leaderboard plugin for Bukkit, Spigot, Paper, Purpur and Folia servers. It ranks players across seven stats and shows the results in GUI menus, hologram text and a floating 3D animated board. It is required on the server, and players join with a normal client.
Server software and versions
- Bukkit, Folia, Paper, Purpur and Spigot: Minecraft 1.21 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies.
What it tracks
The seven categories are money, PvP kills, deaths, playtime, blocks placed, blocks broken and mob kills. Version 4.0 added `/leaderboard animated`, a billboard made from native Display entities. Rows slide in, titles type out, a progress bar tracks the cycle, and each row carries the player's head beside the rank badge. The board rotates through all seven categories on its own.
- Main menu plus split menus for each category, and a personal stats screen.
- Per-category title colours and icons, with block type, size, rotation order and timings set in animatedLB.yml.
- Rankings stored in SQLite, with storage and ranking recalculation running asynchronously.
- PlaceholderAPI tokens for top ranks, personal values and personal ranks, for example %asleaderboard_top_1_money_player%.
Installation
- 1.Put the plugin file in the plugins folder of your server.
- 2.Add Vault if you want the money board.
- 3.Add PlaceholderAPI for holograms and its tokens.
- 4.Restart the server.
- 5.Stand where you want the display and run /leaderboard animated.

Commands and permissions
/leaderboard (or /lb) opens the main menu. Shortcuts such as /playtime, /topmoney, /topkills, /topdeaths, /topmobkills, /topblockplace and /topblockbroken open one category, and /stats shows personal numbers. Admin controls are /leaderboard animated with spawn, remove, skip or reload, plus /aslb reload, /aslb update and /aslb reset for a player's stat.

How do I install AsLeaderBoard?
Put the plugin file in the plugins folder of your server and restart it. Add Vault if you want the money leaderboard, and PlaceholderAPI for holograms and token output. Then run /leaderboard animated in-game, standing where the 3D board should appear. Players do not install anything.
Does AsLeaderBoard work on Folia?
Yes. Folia has its own builds of AsLeaderBoard, alongside Paper, Spigot, Purpur and Bukkit, and the newest 4.0 release lists all five. It needs no other plugin to load, though Vault and PlaceholderAPI add the money board and token output.
Do players need to install AsLeaderBoard?
No. It is a server plugin, so it only goes on the server. Players join with a normal client and see the menus, holograms and animated board that the server provides. Giving them the asleaderboard.use permission lets them view boards and stats.
