CTM Optifine - Fabric is a 16x resource pack by Aeldit that adds connected textures to vanilla and modded blocks. It works with OptiFine or Continuity, so Fabric players get the joined-edge look without installing OptiFine. It is Java only and runs on the client side.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.17 to 26.2. The newest build requires Continuity, optionally Biomes O' Plenty, Cinch's Missing Blocks, VerseCraft, Desire and Create Fabric; some builds for 1.20 to 1.21.6 require Continuity, Biomes O' Plenty, VerseCraft and Desire; some builds for 1.17 to 1.20.1 need no dependencies.
What changes visually
The redstone lamp and the copper blocks are covered in all their states, including on and off and waxed. Every log and stem type is included.
Coverage extends past vanilla to blocks from these mods:
- Biomes O' Plenty
- VerseCraft
- Desire
- Create
- Cinch's Missing Blocks
How to install CTM Optifine - Fabric
- 1.Install Continuity, which the newest build requires.
- 2.Put the .zip in your resourcepacks folder (Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder).
- 3.Move the pack to the Selected side of the Resource Packs screen.
For the full guide, see how to install resource packs on Java and Bedrock. A pack built for another release can still load but shows an incompatibility warning.
Known limitations
The modded textures are Aeldit's edits of other authors' art. The pack is client only, so nothing is installed on the host side. If you want to choose which blocks get connected textures, Aeldit points to a separate project called CTM Selector.
Questions about CTM Optifine - Fabric.
3 questions
Does CTM Optifine - Fabric need OptiFine?
No. The pack works with OptiFine or with Continuity, so Fabric players can use Continuity alone. The newest build requires Continuity, while some builds for 1.17 to 1.20.1 need no dependencies. Check the build you download for its exact requirements.
Is CTM Optifine - Fabric available for Bedrock?
No. The pack is Java Edition only and is hosted on Modrinth, which serves Java content. Bedrock uses a different pack format, so this file will not load there.
Do I need to install CTM Optifine - Fabric on a multiplayer host?
No. The pack is client side only, and the host does not support it. Each player who wants the connected look installs the resource pack and a companion mod on their own machine. That means there is nothing to place on the host, and the pack is marked client required.
