What Enchant Icons changes in Minecraft
Every enchantment on a tool, weapon, piece of armor, bow, crossbow, or trident gets its own icon plus a color tied to its type: protection-family enchantments read green, damage enchantments like Sharpness and Smite read red, tool enchantments like Efficiency and Fortune read teal, and the pairing holds across enchanted books, villager trades, and loot screens. The pack only touches the enchantment name and icon layer of the tooltip. Item textures, armor models, and everything else in the game stay vanilla.
It reads enchantments by their vanilla name, so a mod or data pack that adds or renames enchantments will not get an icon. Only the enchantments the base game defines are covered. Pair it with Enchantment Outlines for a glowing item outline on top of the icon change, or add plain-language explanations with Enchantment Descriptions if you also want to know what each enchantment actually does.
Installation

It is client-side only. Nothing needs to run on a server, and it works on any server the same way it works in singleplayer, because the icons are rendered entirely by the client reading its own tooltips.
