Flower Clusters

A vanilla-like 16x pack that replaces single flowers with dense clusters, so meadows and grass look filled in. It edits models only and adds cluster support for a dozen flower mods.

Flower Clusters is a vanilla-like 16x flower clusters resource pack for Java. It places flowers in clusters rather than individually, filling the empty spaces between them. It runs on the player's side only and is not supported on servers.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.13 to 26.3.

What changes visually

Only flower models change. Textures stay as they are, so the pack sits comfortably on top of any pack that repaints flowers. The result is denser ground cover with the same vanilla palette.

Which flowers get clustered depends on how much of its block the default model covers. Larger flowers are left alone, which is why hibiscuses from Wilder Wild stay single.

Supported flower mods

Flowers from several mods are clustered too, including a handful from Biomes O' Plenty, The Aether and Friends&Foes. The full list of supported mods:

  • Biomes O' Plenty, The Aether, Friends & Foes
  • Wilder Wild, Trailier Tales, Nature's Spirit
  • No Man's Land, Verdance, Atmospheric
  • Environmental, Autumnity, Buzzier Bees

Installation

  1. 1.Open Options, then Resource Packs, then Open Pack Folder.
  2. 2.Place the pack's .zip file in that folder.
  3. 3.Move Flower Clusters to the Selected side of the Resource Packs screen.

The resource pack install guide covers the steps in more detail. A pack built for another release can still load, but shows an incompatibility warning.

Questions about Flower Clusters.

3 questions

Does Flower Clusters work with other texture packs?

Yes, as long as they only change textures. Flower Clusters edits flower models and leaves textures alone, so a pack that repaints flowers can sit alongside it. Packs that replace flower models, for example with 3D versions, will clash with it.

Is Flower Clusters available for Bedrock?

No. The pack is published for Java Edition only, since Modrinth hosts Java content and Bedrock uses a different pack format.

Which flowers does Flower Clusters turn into clusters?

Large flowers, like Wilder Wild's hibiscuses, are deliberately left as single models.
