ILAORE's TFC 32x is a 32x resource pack for Java that rebuilds the item, block and GUI textures of the TerraFirmaCraft mod. The aim is a more realistic look than the original art. It runs on the player's side only, so nothing goes on a multiplayer host.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.18.2 to 1.21.1.
What changes visually
The pack doubles the texture resolution to 32x32 for TerraFirmaCraft content. Items, blocks and interface art are covered, and plant textures were drawn by Acid_Bath. It is built on Vexxed Visuals, with inspiration and some base textures taken from Faithful 32x and TFC TNG Faithful32.
Addons and load order
ILAORE suggests pairing it with Faithful 32x. Whatever you combine it with, this pack must sit above every other pack in the list, or its textures will be overridden.
- TFC Water Flasks has full support, and every flask has its own texture.
- FirmaLife has partial support, with some items and blocks raised to 32x32.
- More addon coverage and remaining unchanged textures are planned, so gaps exist today.
How to install ILAORE's TFC 32x
- 1.Get the .zip from the Modrinth page linked on this listing.
- 2.Open Options, then Resource Packs, then Open Pack Folder, and drop the .zip in.
- 3.Move the pack to the Selected side and place it at the very top of the list.
A pack built for another release can still load but shows an incompatibility warning. Our guide to installing resource packs covers the same steps in more detail.
Questions about ILAORE's TFC 32x.
3 questions
Does ILAORE's TFC 32x work with Faithful 32x?
Yes. ILAORE suggests using it alongside Faithful 32x for the strongest visual effect. The one rule is order: ILAORE's TFC 32x has to sit above all other packs in the list, otherwise other packs override its TerraFirmaCraft textures and the pack will not work properly.
Is ILAORE's TFC 32x available for Bedrock?
No. It is hosted on Modrinth as a Java resource pack, and Bedrock uses a different pack format. The listing describes only Java use, so Bedrock players should not expect it to load.
Which TerraFirmaCraft addons does this pack cover?
TFC Water Flasks has full support, with unique textures for every flask. FirmaLife is only partly covered, with some items and blocks upgraded to 32x32. The creator plans to widen addon support and redraw textures that are still unchanged.
