Lunac Shaders 3D

A Bedrock-only shader pack that adds heightmaps and MERS materials to the base Lunac look. Blocks gain depth, believable reflections and shadows that fall across textured surfaces.

What Lunac Shaders 3D works with.

PlatformBedrock Edition
Minecraft versions1.21, 26.3, 26.10, 26.11, 26.12, 26.13, 26.20, 26.30, 26.40, 26.50

Lunac Shaders 3D is a Bedrock resource pack that layers heightmaps and MERS textures over the base Lunac shaders. It gives blocks real depth, material-based reflections and richer shadows. It runs on Vibrant Visuals rather than the RTX toggle, so the lunac shaders look reaches any device that supports that mode. Java players need a different shader, since this pack is Bedrock only.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.21 to 26.50.

What changes visually

  • Depth from heightmaps. Ridges, bumps and cuts show up on stone, wood and bricks instead of flat faces.
  • Materials from MERS. Each block carries its own metalness, reflectiveness and emissive values, so metal shines, polished surfaces reflect and rough ones stay matte.
  • Lighting. Sunlight casts tiny shadows into cracks, and light passes through the pixels of leaves. Metal and glass reflect more clearly.
  • Water and shadows. The ultra-realistic water and blocky shadows of the base shader remain, now reacting to the new surface detail.

How to set it up

Import the pack file, then switch it on in your world's resource pack settings. If the import fails, the add-on installation guide covers both routes.

  1. 1.Activate Lunac Shaders 3D in your world.
  2. 2.Inside the world, open Settings, then Lunac Settings.
  3. 3.Set Graphics Mode to Vibrant Visuals.
  4. 4.Pick Favor Performance if frames drop, or Favor Quality when you have headroom.
  5. 5.Set Resolution to Native for the sharpest image, or Auto for the lightest load.

Questions about Lunac Shaders 3D.

4 questions

Does Lunac Shaders 3D need an RTX graphics card?

No. The pack works through the Vibrant Visuals graphics mode, not the RTX toggle. It runs on any device that supports Vibrant Visuals, though the Native resolution setting costs more performance than Auto.

Is Lunac Shaders 3D available for Java?

No. It is a Bedrock pack distributed through CurseForge, and Java cannot load Bedrock resource packs. Java players need a shader made for their own format.

How do I improve performance with Lunac Shaders 3D?

Open Lunac Settings inside your world, choose Favor Performance, and set Resolution to Auto. That gives the lightest load with decent quality. Switch to Favor Quality and Native when your device has spare headroom.

Can I make a video about Lunac Shaders 3D?

Yes. Videos are allowed if you credit the creator in the description and link only the original MCPEDL or CurseForge listing. Editing the pack and publishing it elsewhere is not allowed.
