Technically Enhanced is a lightweight, vanilla-plus modpack for Java on Fabric. It centres on building tools, automation controls and performance mods, and it leaves core mechanics untouched. It runs on the player's side only, and dedicated hosts are unsupported.

Loaders and versions

  • Fabric: Minecraft 1.21 to 26.3.

What's included

The pack groups 26 mods into performance, utility and miscellaneous sets. The performance set includes Sodium, Lithium, ImmediatelyFast, Entity Culling, Better Block Entities, Krypton and Fast Noise.

The utility set is the draw. Litematica, MiniHUD, Tweakeroo, Syncmatica and Item Scroller come from Masa, and newer releases are maintained by Sakura Ryoko. Carpet (with Carpet TIS Addition), WorldEdit, Live Texture Editor, Spark and Iris round it out. Quality-of-life extras include zoom, fullbright and hand restock.

  • Misc mods include Mod Menu, NoChatReports, Reese's Sodium Options, Sodium Extra and RemoveReloadingScreen.
  • Libraries are Cloth Config, Fabric API and MaLiLib.

Keybinds

  • Tweakeroo menu: X+C
  • Item Scroller menu: I+C
  • MaLiLib menu: A+C
  • Litematica menu: M (M+C also works)
  • MiniHUD menu: H+C

How to install Technically Enhanced

Open the Modrinth page and import the pack into the Modrinth App, or into Prism Launcher or another launcher that reads .mrpack files. The launcher fetches the listed mods and Fabric for you. Our guide on installing a modpack from CurseForge or Modrinth covers the steps.

The trade-off is scope. The pack is a toolkit for builders and technical players, not a new progression or content overhaul, and it cannot be used on a dedicated host. Related packs in the Enhanced series cover visuals (Enhanced Quality) and pure performance (Enhanced FPS, with a NeoForge edition).

Questions about Technically Enhanced.

4 questions

How do I install Technically Enhanced?

Import the pack from its Modrinth page into the Modrinth App, Prism Launcher or another launcher that reads .mrpack files. The launcher downloads the listed mods and the Fabric loader automatically, so no manual mod placement is needed.

Is there a server pack for Technically Enhanced?

No. The pack is required on the player's side and a dedicated host is listed as unsupported. It is meant for personal use on your own installation, not for running a shared world host.

Does Technically Enhanced work on multiplayer?

It is tagged for multiplayer use, but some Tweakeroo features may be treated as cheating on certain servers. Check each host's rules before enabling them, since the pack ships with those tools included.

Which loader does Technically Enhanced use?

It runs on Fabric only. Builds cover 1.21 to 26.3, with the newest release dated 2026-10-24. A separate NeoForge pack exists in the Enhanced series, but that one is Enhanced FPS.
