What you find inside
Pandas are rare in vanilla, and here they live indoors alongside parrots, frogs and ocelots. Taking the animals is the easy part.
The deeper rooms hold valuable loot, and it is protected well enough that the creator expects you to arrive with enchanted gear and tools, or to find a creative way in. The temple was designed by Navelpluus.
Finding the temple
Exploring jungles works, but the locate command is faster. Run the line below in a world with the pack or mod active.
- /locate structure pandatemple:pandatemple
Installation
Pick one route. For the mod route, install the loader that matches your game, put the mod file in the mods folder, and launch with that loader's profile. The mod install guide covers the steps. No library mods are needed.
For the datapack route, download the datapack file instead of a mod file. This suits worlds where you do not want a loader at all.
Questions about Panda Temple.
4 questions
Is Panda Temple a data pack or a mod?
Both. The same content is published as a plain datapack and as mod files for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. The datapack route needs no loader, while the mod route needs the loader that matches your game. Either way, the result is the same jungle temple.
How do I find the Panda Temple in my world?
Run /locate structure pandatemple:pandatemple in a world where the pack or mod is active. You can also explore Jungle biomes on foot, since that is where the structure generates. The temple houses pandas, parrots, frogs and ocelots.
Do I need Panda Temple on the server or on the client?
The server needs it. Panda Temple lists the server as required and the client as optional, so players can join a server running it without installing anything themselves. The same content ships as a datapack and as loader mods, and whichever route you choose, put it on the server.
What lives inside the Panda Temple?
Pandas, parrots, frogs and ocelots live in the temple. Deeper rooms also hold valuable loot that is well protected, so the creator suggests bringing enchanted gear and tools, or finding a creative way to get past the defences.
