Blades of Majestica is a 16x resource pack for Java that swaps plain swords for highly detailed 3D fantasy weapons. It is Java only, since Bedrock uses a different pack format.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.16 to 26.3.

How to use the models

Install the pack as usual (the resource pack install guide covers it), then switch models in the anvil. Nothing changes on its own.

  1. 1.Put the .zip in the resourcepacks folder (Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder) and move it to the Selected side.
  2. 2.Take any sword and rename it in an anvil to the name of the model you want.

What changes visually

The pack swaps sword models for highly detailed 3D ones, and the model names are shown on the CurseForge screenshots.

The CurseForge page lists only a partial set of weapons. The full list lives on the creator's website at realm-of-majestica.webflow.io. Model names changed in 1.21.5, so players on older releases should use the RP Names mod to see weapon names, or check the old weapon names channel on Eftann's Discord.

The trade-off

The anvil-rename system means you pick every model by hand and need the exact name. That suits collectors and roleplay builds more than players who want a one-click retexture.
