Tweakeroo is a client-side Fabric mod that bundles dozens of small, toggleable tweaks for building, mining, and inventory management. It needs the MaLiLib library mod to run and, on current Minecraft, only ships as a Fabric build; Fabric API is not listed as a required dependency. Every tweak starts off, so the mod does nothing until you turn a feature on in its config menu.
What Tweakeroo changes
Tweakeroo's tweaks cover block placement, mining and combat, and interface convenience. A few of the most-used ones, verified against the mod's own feature list:
- Fast block placement and fast left/right click, for placing or breaking blocks faster than vanilla's click rate allows.
- Flexible block placement and accurate block placement, for choosing exact rotations and offsets when a block's orientation matters, like hoppers, stairs, or rails.
- Placement grid and breaking grid, which snap block placement or breaking to a fixed spacing.
- Placement restriction and breaking restriction, which lock building or mining to a line, plane, column, or layer.
- Tool switch and swap almost-broken tools, which auto-select the right tool for the target block and swap out a tool close to breaking.
- Hand restock, which refills a nearly-empty stack from your inventory automatically.
- Zoom, a built-in zoom key that does not depend on Optifine, plus hotbar swap and hotbar scroll for quicker slot switching.
Opening the config menu and setting hotkeys
Tweakeroo's tweaks live in an in-game config screen, opened by default with the X and C keys held together. Every tweak, hotkey, and generic setting can be rebound or adjusted from that menu, and the same screen is where a first-time user finds out a tweak is off and switches it on.
Installing Tweakeroo
- 1.Install Fabric Loader for the target Minecraft version.
- 2.Download MaLiLib (required) and Tweakeroo for the same Minecraft version and loader, and place both jars in the mods folder.
- 3.Match versions exactly. Tweakeroo, MaLiLib, and the Minecraft install all need to line up, or the game fails to load the mod.
Loader and version support
Current development is Fabric-only. Fabric builds cover Minecraft 1.14 through 26.3, with the newest release, 0.30.0, published for 26.3. The Forge, LiteLoader, Rift, and Ornithe builds in the version history stop at 1.12.2 or 1.13.2 and are not maintained for current Minecraft; treat them as legacy options, not current loader support.

Questions about Tweakeroo.
5 questions
Why is Tweakeroo not working?
The most common cause is a missing or mismatched MaLiLib install. Tweakeroo requires MaLiLib to be in the mods folder, built for the exact same Minecraft version and loader as Tweakeroo itself. The second most common cause is that the tweak you want is simply off. Every Tweakeroo feature starts disabled, so open the config menu and turn it on.
What is the default key to open Tweakeroo's config menu?
Tweakeroo opens its config menu with the X and C keys held together by default, confirmed in the mod's own hotkey settings. The menu lets you rebind that combo, along with every individual tweak's hotkey, from inside the game.
Does Tweakeroo need MaLiLib?
Yes. MaLiLib is a required dependency, not optional. Tweakeroo will not load without it, and Fabric API is not listed as a dependency, so installing that separately is not necessary for Tweakeroo to run.
Does Tweakeroo work with Forge or NeoForge?
Not on current Minecraft. Tweakeroo's Forge, LiteLoader, and Rift builds stop at Minecraft 1.12.2 or 1.13.2 and have not been updated since. Every current release, up through 26.3, is Fabric only.
Can using Tweakeroo get you banned?
It can, on servers that do not allow it. Several tweaks, including hand restock and the fast-clicking features, send input faster than a normal player would, and some anti-cheat systems flag that as cheating. Check a server's rules before enabling those tweaks there.
